Teaching the whole counsel of God for the honor of God.
The Mission of Unashamed Truth Ministries is to teach the whole counsel of God for the honor of God. As the Bible-teaching ministry of Grant Castleberry, the desire is to reach as many people as possible with the truth of God’s Word. The mission is the further discipleship of the believer and to give an apologetic to the unbeliever who is investigating the claims of God-centered Christianity.

What We Believe
We hold that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the only authority in matters of faith and practice, and our interpretation of Bible doctrine leads us to believe:
The Scriptures of the Old & New Testament as being verbally inspired by God and inerrant and infallible in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority. Moreover, they are sufficient so that the believer is equipped for every good work.
In one God eternally existing in one essence, yet co-equal persons, the Trinity: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ was begotten by God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Mary. He is both truly man and truly God.
In the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He is the life of the believer, imparts spiritual gifts to the Body of Christ, and He empowers the preaching and teaching of the gospel.
That mankind was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that human beings are born with a sinful nature.
That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood.
In the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into heaven, and His present life there as High Priest and Advocate for us.
In the blessed hope, which is the personal, visible, and future return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God and heirs of eternal life, and can by no means lose their salvation. All believers will demonstrate their faith through good works wrought by the Holy Spirit.
In the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost in hell, and the fellowship of the saved in heaven.
In the existence of a personal devil, who is still working in the world to destroy the souls of men, and that he and all his angels and all who do not receive Christ as their personal Savior will eternally perish in the lake of fire.
In the Church, whose mission it is to preach the Scriptures and make disciples of all nations, all of its endeavors being guided by multiple leadership and supported by the wise stewardship of God’s people.
That the ordinances of the Church, given by the Lord, are Baptism and the Lord’s Table (Communion).

Unashamed Truth exists to equip believers to stand with biblical clarity and bold conviction. The following convictions shape our mission, message, and ministry.
1. The Centrality of the Local Church
We are committed to the primacy of the local church as God’s primary means of discipleship, shepherding, and spiritual formation.
Unashamed Truth is not a substitute for the church but an extension of it, designed to come alongside pastors, elders, and congregations in service to Christ’s body. We affirm that preaching, corporate worship, prayer, fellowship, and accountable discipleship cannot be replicated by platforms or parachurch ministries.
2. Depth Over Numbers
We value spiritual depth more than numerical reach.
Our aim is not to chase metrics, virality, or platform growth, but to cultivate mature, grounded disciples. Following the pattern of Christ and the apostolic model, we are committed to investing deeply in doctrine, theology, and faithful transmission of truth from one generation to the next.
3. Confessional, Not Innovative
We stand in the stream of historic, biblical Christianity.
Rather than pursuing novelty or theological innovation, we joyfully receive “the faith once for all delivered to the saints.” Our doctrinal commitments are rooted in Scripture alone (sola Scriptura) and expressed through the historic confessions and the teaching of the Reformers, Puritans, and faithful expositors across church history.
We believe sound doctrine produces healthy Christian living.
4. God-Centered, Not Man-Centered
Our focus is not the elevation of man, but the glory of God.
While cultural issues may be addressed when necessary, our primary aim is to lead people to know God — His character, His Word, His presence, and His works. We believe the deepest need of every person is not self-improvement but true communion with the living God.
5. Experiential, Not Dead Orthodoxy
We reject cold, lifeless religion.
Biblical truth is meant not only to be studied but experienced. True orthodoxy must lead to joy, sanctification, obedience, and intimacy with Christ. Our desire is to see believers grow in holiness, love for God, trust in His promises, and the lived application of Scripture.
We believe theology should warm the heart, not merely inform the mind.
6. Gospel-Driven, Not Pharisaical
The gospel stands at the center of everything we do.
We affirm that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, and that this same gospel fuels the entire Christian life. Holiness, obedience, and sanctification flow from grace, not legalism.
We reject moralism divorced from the cross and instead proclaim the finished work of Christ: His sinless life, substitutionary death, and bodily resurrection for sinners.
The gospel is not only the entry point of the Christian life — it is its daily foundation and power.
7. Holiness, Not Worldliness
We are committed to pursuing holiness in every sphere of life.
Because God is holy, His people are called to reflect His character through lives marked by obedience, purity, and consecration. We reject the pull of worldliness, not out of legalism, but out of love for Christ and gratitude for the gospel.
True holiness is not external performance but Spirit-wrought transformation. It flows from union with Christ, is fueled by grace, and is evidenced in both personal godliness and public faithfulness.
We believe the Christian life should be visibly distinct, shaped by Scripture, marked by repentance, and growing in sanctification as we are conformed to the image of Christ.
“There is nothing as powerful in this world as the Word of God. Our job is simply to unleash it.”
